How do I cancel a shoot if I feel unsafe?

Modified on Thu, Jun 19 at 6:22 PM

Your safety is our top priority at all times. If you feel that there is an immediate threat to your safety anytime before or during the shoot, we urge you to contact your local police or local emergency hotline at once. Once the emergency has been dealt with, please also contact Snappr as soon as possible so we can investigate the issue.

If you feel uncomfortable or have a bad experience with a customer even before the shoot starts, you can cancel the shoot anytime through the following steps:

  1. Using your Snappr Photographer App, tap the Shoots tab.
  2. Choose the booking that you need to cancel, scroll down and tap Help Center. Tap Safety Concerns
  3. Select the appropriate safety reason for your cancellation and add additional details to provide more context. Add any attachments or files that are relevant. Select Send Message.
  4. Snappr support will review your submission and process the cancellation accordingly.

Some additional reminders to keep you safe:

  • In order to protect yourself, we recommend that you use the Snappr chat feature to communicate with your assigned customer. This will allow you to directly communicate with your customer without needing to share your personal and private numbers. This can also serve as proof of discussion or agreements should disagreements or problems arise during the entire photo shoot process.
  • If you want to call or send a text message to your customer, do not give your personal number. Rather, use the call button on your Snappr Photographer App. We assign a masked phone number that will be used during the entire photo shoot to protect you and your client’s personal privacy.
