How do I update the shoot types that I am eligible to receive?

Modified on Mon, Jun 23 at 8:52 PM

Easily manage the shoot types that you are willing to do by updating shoot specialties from the Portfolio screen on your desktop web dashboard.

  1. Go to your Snappr desktop web dashboard.
  2. Click the Portfolio tab, and you will see all the different shoot specialties you can add or remove from your profile.
  3. Read the description and see sample photos for each specialty, by clicking on one then choosing See suggestions.
  4. Upload at least 6 photos for any specialty you want to receive shoots for. These will be tagged as Active. Snappr will actively recommend you to clients for these shoots as a specialist.
  5. Specialties with less than 6 photos uploaded are tagged as Incomplete. Specialties with no photos uploaded are tagged as Pending. NOTE: Customers may book you for incomplete or pending specialties if there are no specialists available for their shoot, but this is rare.
  6. If you don’t want to receive any shoots for a particular specialty, you can disable it. This will prevent any customer from booking you for this specialty, even if there are no other specialists available for their shoot.
Pro Tip: Maximize the likelihood of receiving shoots through Snappr by uploading more than 6 photos for as many specialties as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Is there a maximum number of photos for each shoot type/portfolio?
None. Upload as many photos for all the different photo shoot types that you are able to do. Just make sure all photos are clear and of high quality to increase the likelihood of customers choosing you.
  2. Can I drag and drop the order of my portfolio photos the way I want them to be displayed?
This feature is not yet available. We recommend placing your best photos in chronological order if you want customers to see your best work.
  3. Can I make changes to my portfolio after I start working?
Yes, you can access your portfolio any time through your desktop web dashboard. Edit your portfolio to reflect your best and most updated work so customers can always view your best work.
  4. I do not want to receive bookings for some specialties. What should I do?
You can opt out by disabling these specialties.

  5. Can I cancel a shoot because I am no longer interested in a specialty that I signed up for?
Please keep in mind that you are committing to completing all shoots assigned to you that are not disabled, regardless of the booking duration. Canceling a shoot because you are no longer interested in that shoot type will lead to negative points and potential dismissal from the platform.
