How does my available equipment impact which bookings I receive?

Some shoot types require specific equipment. Specialized shoots would only be assigned to you if you have certain gear available.

Here are some guidelines on shoot specialties and the necessary equipment you would need.

Virtual tour packages for Real Estate bookings

There are two types of virtual tour packages customers can choose from that require special equipment.

  1. Standard Fidelity - captured with a 360 camera in standard resolution, with lower depth accuracy and limited add-ons
  2. High Fidelity - captured with a Matterport Camera in high resolution, with higher depth accuracy and more add-ons

To receive these bookings, you must both add the required equipment to your equipment list and toggle on Virtual tour enabled at the bottom of the Equipment screen in your photographer app.

E-commerce/product shoots

  • For Studio style shoots, we only recommend photographers who have the appropriate lighting and backdrop equipment to make sure customer expectations are met. Please bring these equipment to your shoot.
  • Photographers must have both a small/large product photography kit and a white backdrop selected in their equipment settings to be eligible. The product photography kit refers to lighting equipment such as external lights or a lightbox.
  • Photographers must have Product Photography enabled as a specialty with portfolio photos uploaded to be eligible.

For all other specialties

If you receive a lot of bookings for a specific specialty where the customers request equipment that you do not have, it is best to disable that specialty by following these instructions or acquire the equipment to avoid unnecessary cancellations.
