Does Snappr file my taxes?

Modified on Thu, Jun 19 at 8:15 PM

We consider photographers like you as our partners. As an independent contractor, you are responsible for keeping track of your earnings and accurately reporting them in tax filings. Snappr does not serve as the photographer’s employer nor customer. Snappr serves as a matching and payment platform that allows you to connect with customers for bookings and receive payment from them in return.

If you have any questions on what to report on your taxes, we highly recommend that you seek guidance from a qualified tax professional in your country of residence for additional guidance on your tax obligations.

Note: Snappr does not automatically withhold taxes from your payments.

If you earned $600 or more in a year on the Snappr platform, you will receive tax documents via Paypal, our current payment processor. Please reach out to Paypal for more details.
