What can I do to get more shoots with Snappr?

Modified on Mon, Jun 23 at 8:41 PM

Snappr works as an on-demand platform that connects customers to the most appropriate photographers based on their needs and requirements. This also ensures that you get to work on shoots that fit your style, skill or specialty.

If you haven’t been booked for any shoots, check if you have done the following:

  1. Does your calendar show that you are available for shoots?
Make sure that you are available for shoots on the Snappr platform. Related ArticleHow do I manage my availability?
  2. Did you optimize your service area?
Set your service area to the largest zone you can commit to, given the available modes of transport and average travel times. Related Article: How to manage my service area?
  3. Are your shoot type specialties updated?
Showcase your skill and portfolio by uploading 6 or more photos for as many specialties as possible. Related Article: How do I update the shoot types that customers can choose me for?
  4. Is your profile updated?
One of the ways customers decide who to book is by browsing photographer profiles on the Snappr website. Double check the details of your Snappr profile and make sure it reflects accurate information. Related Article: Managing your profile.

If you are getting booked and want to maximize your earnings from Snappr, here are some tips:

  1. As much as possible, avoid canceling shoots
Customers are less likely to book you again for succeeding shoots, and you lose out on potential business. Canceling a shoot will also result in a deduction of 20 Snappr points, and repeated cancellations may lead to your account being blocked from receiving future bookings.
  2. Aim for high Snappr points
Customers are asked to rate you based on two things: service quality and photo quality. Photographers with the most points in their city are more likely to get recommended and booked. On the other hand, a low score will lower your probability of receiving jobs, and in severe cases may result in dismissal from the platform.
