What if the shoot location needs to be updated?

A customer may decide on a different location after the initial booking. There are instances where the photographer suggests another venue due to better lighting or bad weather conditions. 

If the customer wants to change the shoot location 

  1. Once you agree on the new location, ask them to process the shoot location change on their Snappr Dashboard

If you want to change the shoot location

  1. Ensure that the customer is aware of your proposed change
  2. Go to your Dashboard and choose the relevant booking
  3. Tap Request changes
  4. Choose Customer needs to change location since the customer will need to approve the change
  5. Enter the new location and additional information (e.g floor, zip code, landmarks). Tap on Continue.
  6. Tap Confirm changes to proceed.
  7. Once you submit the request, the customer will receive a notification. The customer can either approve or reject the request.
  8. You will receive confirmation thru chat when your request is approved or rejected.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What if the new location is outside my service area?
    If you are not willing to travel to the new location since it’s outside your service area, ask the customer to contact support and the shoot will be assigned to another photographer. 
  2. Will I receive additional payment (e.g. travel fee, toll) if the shoot location is modified?
    You need to talk to the customer and secure approval for the additional charges. If the customer agrees, you can request for the additional payment on your app.
