How do I adjust my service area?

Modified on Mon, Jun 23 at 8:39 PM

Updating your service area ensures that you would only receive shoots in locations you are willing to travel to.

You can adjust your service area with just a few easy steps:

  1. From your Snappr Photographer app, tap your profile photo on the upper left corner of the screen.
  2. Tap Availability on the side nav bar.
  3. Tap Service area.
  4. Tap the search bar and type the location or service area you want to get bookings from, then adjust the polygon by adjusting the corners.
  5. Tap Save at the upper right to save any changes made.

Note: The first time you adjust your service area, you will see a Show expected demand button. Areas where there is high customer demand will be colored red.

Follow the tips below to ensure you only receive shoots you are willing to complete.

  • Set your service area to the largest area you can commit to, given your available modes of transport and average travel times.
  • Remember, while the average shoot duration is 1-2 hours, consider that some shoots can be as short as 30 minutes, making lengthy travel time undesirable.
  • Please keep in mind that once you’ve set a service area, you are committing to completing all shoots assigned to you in that area, regardless of time of day or shoot duration. Canceling a shoot because you are no longer willing to travel to the location will lead to negative points and potential dismissal from the platform.
