Frequently Asked Questions
- Do you offer any other calendar syncing systems besides Google?
We only support calendar sync for Google Calendar at this time. - What if I have multiple Google calendars?
Snappr can only sync up to one (1) Google calendar to your Snappr account.
If you have multiple Google calendars, there are some tools like Reclaim that allow you to consolidate everything into one calendar, which can then be synced to your Snappr app!
Note: These are third party software/tools that are not affiliated with Snappr. - I set up a Google calendar sync. Is there a way to see if it’s actually working properly?
To test calendar sync, you can add a personal event to your Google calendar and mark yourself as busy. You can then go to your profile page and try booking yourself as a customer.
If you are not showing as available during that time, then the sync has worked.
Some things to remember
- You won't be given shoots at times that are within 30 minutes of any events in this calendar. If you have items in your calendar that don't affect your availability for shoots (e.g. reminders) be sure to set them to Free not Busy.
- Your calendar information gets combined with the Weekly Recurring Availability and Exceptions you have entered into your Snappr dashboard, so please continue to ensure those are accurate.
- You will be eligible for shoots at times that fall within your weekly recurring availability, unless the time slot is blocked in your synced calendar or your exceptions.
- Double check that all-day events on your calendar are set to Busy if you don’t want to receive shoots on those days.
- As soon as you're booked for a shoot, it should appear on your Google calendar real-time.
- Ensure that the Google calendar connected to your Snappr account is updated and shows your correct availability. Updates to other calendars that you maintain will not show up on your Snappr calendar.
